MAIT is an ERC-20 based token with a capped supply of 720 million. In the Maitreja ecosystem it is used as the means of exchange as the payment of a platform membership fee and the way to involve users in the decision making process. The idea behind this is to ensure the demand for the supply increases and so does its use, which helps in increasing its value and retains the users.

The ICO of Maitreja was released on the 15 of August 2023, with a capitalization of 90 million U.S. dollars. ICO was complete with target cap achieved. Additionally, they dedicate resources towards building out a platform, paying operating costs, and finding avenues for promotion, which allows for the long term health of the project.

Maitreja uses the following technologies in Mait technology stack: MySQL, JavaScript (JS), PHP, and Vue. me platform.
